Parents damaged furniture of Narayana high school here, in protest against alleged harassment of their daughter by a teacher.
It is learnt that a social teacher allegedly harassed a Class X student. The girl informed the matter to her parents.
Enraged over the incident, parents came to the school and thrashed the teacher. As he escaped from the spot, they damaged the furniture in the school.
Knowing about the incident, police rushed the school and brought the situation under control.
