BRS working president KT Rama Rao lashed out at the Congress government for failing the people of Telangana on all fronts. He stated that there was widespread dissatisfaction among employees, students, farmers, labourers and women, who were forced to stage protests against the government’s inaction.
“The Congress government lied to everyone. Five DAs (Dearness Allowance) are still pending to employees – has there ever been such injustice? The Chief Minister doesn’t even make time to address the concerns of employees unions. Why hasn’t the new PRC (Pay Revision Commission) been implemented after 11 months of the Congress rule? What about the promise to restore the old pension scheme?” he questioned.
