A major theft occurred at the State Bank of India’s ATM at Dameracherla in Nalgonda district late on Friday night.
Burglars the ATM machine and made away with Rs 24 lakh in cash. The involvement of a notorious dacoit gang is suspected in the incident which caused panic in the mandal headquarters town.
Nalgonda Superintendent of Police Sarath Chandra Pawar, who inspected the crime scene, is leading the investigation.
