The Hyderabad police will approach the Supreme Court for the cancellation of an interim bail granted to Telugu film actor Allu Arjun, high-placed sources in the police department said. The Telangana High Court granted an interim bail to Allu Arjun in the case related to the death of a woman in the Sandhya theatre stampede on December 4.
However, as the police gathered fresh evidence during the investigation, they will soon approach the Supreme Court seeking the cancellation of Allu Arjun’s interim bail, the top police officials said.
Hyderabad police commissioner C.V. Anand and health secretary Dr Christina visited KIMS Hospital to check the health condition of nine-year-old Sri Tej, the son of the stampede victim, and was injured in the stampede.
