It was a close shave for 40 passengers travelling in a private travels bus as the vehicle caught fire near Malleboinpally on the national highway 44 under Jadcherla mandal on Monday morning.
The private travel bus was heading to Hyderabad from Bengaluru and suddenly the rear tyre burst and flames caught up the vehicle. As thick smoke enveloped the vehicle, passengers immediately alighted the bus and ran for safety.
