Union minister G. Kishan Reddy conducted an on-site inspection of the Amberpet Flyover, walking its length from Golnaka Church to Vani Photo Studio. He gathered detailed updates from officials representing Roads & Buildings (R&B), National Highways (RO), Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Water Works, Electricity, and Revenue Departments. During a press briefing, minister Reddy highlighted the project’s history and current challenges.

He recalled that during N.T. Rama Rao’s tenure, the Chaderghat-Warangal national highway was widened, but the Amberpet section was excluded due to adjacent cemeteries. As both an MLA and MP for Amberpet, he initiated the flyover project, securing immediate approval and funding from Prime Minister.
