Annam Foundation of Khammam has reunited a woman who left home 14 years ago, much to the joy of their family members.

The foundation’s founder, a para-volunteer, Annam Srinivasa Rao, who runs an old age home-orphanage, received a call from Khammam RTC officials in February saying that an unidentified 50-year-old mentally ill woman had been begging at the old bus stand area for some time. They wanted him to look after the woman. Srinivasa Rao reached the spot and spoke to the woman, but she was unable to say anything about her whereabouts. The RTC officials then handed over the woman to the foundation.
