A customer found a lizard’s tail in a soft drink bottle at the Patnam Highway Restaurant at Peddapur in Sadasivapet mandal on Thursday night.
Two youngsters from a nearby village had gone to the restaurant to have dinner and also ordered soft drinks. When they found something inside the bottle after drinking half of it, they poured the remaining cool drink in a container and found the lizard’s tail.
The youngsters were admitted to a hospital as a precautionary measure. Later, they complained to the food inspector on Friday morning when the news came to light. The video and photographs went viral on social media.
