BRS MLAs and MLCs took out a rally in auto-rickshaws from the MLA quarters at Adarshnagar to the Assembly, demanding the immediate implementation of promises made to auto-rickshaw drivers in the State.
The party also moved an adjournment motion in both Houses, seeking a discussion on the issue.

Raising slogans for justice, the leaders highlighted the financial distress faced by auto drivers, which had led to 93 suicides in the State.
They termed these deaths as “government murders,” blaming the Congress administration of neglecting promises made to the community during elections.
