BRS MLAs, led by KT Rama Rao and T Harish Rao, have submitted an adjournment motion in the Telangana Assembly on Monday, demanding a discussion on the Congress government’s failure to implement a complete crop loan waiver up to Rs 2 lakh, as promised in the Warangal Farmers Declaration.
Soon after the session began, the BRS MLAs raised slogans demanding for taking up discussion on crop loan waiver. Harish Rao led the protests. They demand for waiver of loans upto Rs 2 lakh immediately, even as the Ministers moved the demands for grants for discussion on the annual State budget. The BRS MLAs wore black ribbons as a mark of protest and demanded that the government come to the rescue of farmers.
