In yet another humanitarian work, the Head priest at Chilkur Balaji temple facilitates support to Shaik Imdad, a Carnatic Singer.
45-year-old Imad, who is a classical Carnatic devotional song vocalist, has performed many times at the Chilkur Balaji Temple. The man recently suffered from a heart stroke and had an open heart surgery due to which he was off work for sometime. Mujtaba Hasan Askari of Helping Hand Foundation said, “My good friend CS Rangarajan (Chilkur priest) reached out to me requesting support for Imad.
I visited Imdad yesterday and pledged our support. We will support his children’s education until he resumes his work.” We deeply appreciate Chilkur Priest’s efforts to help people in distress and promote communal harmony, he added.
