Four auto-rickshaws and a car parked on the premises of the Narsapur RTC depot by RTA officials were gutted after they caught fire accidentally on Thursday afternoon.

The Narsapur RTA officials had seized the vehicles in various raids and parked them in the vacant place here. The locals said they saw vehicles catching fire and getting reduced to ashes by the time a fire tender reached the spot.

However, the fire department staff restricted the fire from spreading to other vehicles. A case was registered and the probe is on.
