BRS working president KT Rama Rao has thrown down the gauntlet to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, daring him to call for fresh elections with the single agenda of the Musi Riverfront beautification project. “Hain Dum Rahul Gandhi?” he asked.
His challenge came after a netizen, Olirtudeg, posted on X, suggesting that if the Congress government truly believed in the project’s importance, it should dissolve the government and seek a fresh mandate from the people. The netizen argued that the Congress was elected based on promises of freebie schemes, and should focus on fulfilling those commitments rather than prioritizing the riverfront project.
In a series of posts on X, Rama Rao lambasted the Congress government under Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for its handling of the Musi Riverfront project, which has led to mass displacement of families.
