Taking a break from his practice ahead of the upcoming Ranji match, India pace bowler from Hyderabad Mohammed Siraj spent some time with officials of the Road Transport Authority (RTA), Tolichowki, during a road safety programme held on Tuesday.

Apart from RTA officials, the star pacer made it a point to interact with fans and the general public, who were overwhelmed by his presence. In a message to the people of Hyderabad, Siraj urged them to adhere to basic traffic and road safety rules. “Please wear a helmet and seat belts. Don’t drink and drive,” he said in a message to the citizens.

Being a resident of First Lancer, Mehdipatnam, which falls under the jurisdiction of the RTA (West) office, Tolichowki, Siraj was specially invited by the RTA officials for the event.
