District Educational officer (DEO) has issued an order that no private schools (SSC, CBSE, ICSE) should sell Uniform, Shoe and Belt in school premises.
The order dated May 30, stated that all the Deputy Educational Officers to constitute mandal level committe to monitor private schools regularly and also to ensure that no sale of uniforms, shoes and belts takes place in school premises.
“All the Deputy Educational Officers and Deputy Inspector of Schools of Hyderabad District are requested to take the action accordingly,” read the order.
As per the court orders, the sale of books/note books/stationery at the school counter, if any, should be on a non-commercial, no-profit-no-loss basis, if so bring the notice of the undersigned for taking necessary action in the matter, said the order.
