As red gram dal prices have shot up to more than ₹180 per kilo, the state government has started supplying this dal at ₹160 per kilo at the fair price ration shops, which are also selling superfine variety of rice at ₹48, said tourism minister Kandula Durgesh.
He was speaking after inaugurating stalls selling rice and red gram dal at subsidised rates at the Rythu Bazaar near the Quarry Market Centre in Rajamahendravaram on Thursday. The stalls have been started under the aegis of Civil Supplies Corporation.
