A Sub-Inspector of Police saved the life of a devotee by performing CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) at Mallikarjuna Swamy temple of Odela mandal.
On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, a huge number of devotees had thronged the Odela Mallikarjuna Swamy temple.
A devotee from Challur of Veenavanka mandal, Orusu Srinivas, suffered a heart stroke and collapsed while returning after having darshan of the presiding deity.
Noticing it, SI Venkatesh saved his life by performing CPR. Later, Srinivas was shifted to hospital in the police vehicle.
