The Telangana State United Teachers’ Federation (TS UTF) demanded that the Congress government withdraw the proposed increase of employees retirement age and release the pending bills immediately.

During a UTF state office bearers meeting held here on Sunday, MLC A Narsi Reddy and UTF president Chava Ravi said enhancing the retirement age to postpone pensioner payments was not right.

The teachers demanded the government implement the promises made to the employees and teachers. They wanted the PRC report be brought immediately besides releasing four DAs, which have been due since long.
