Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited is all set to print QR codes on the electricity bills from next month for the convenience of customers. This comes after reports of consumers facing issues with bill payments via the government website.
Consumers will be able to pay their electricity bills by scanning the QR code with their mobile phones. Currently, bills can be paid through the company’s website, mobile app, Billdesk, Paytm, TA Wallet, TG/AP Online and MeeSeva. To further facilitate consumer convenience, the company arranged a meeting with bankers, officials said.
